Mountain Edge Loft

Private loft apartment on 25 wooded acres, sits separate from main farm house. Private deck overlooking the woods. Everything you need for a cozy stay. Located on the edge of the Blue Ridge Escarpment with lakes Jocassee and Keowee just a few miles away. Numerous state parks, hiking, biking and kayaking or just peace and quiet. We are a sustainable homestead with an organic garden, chickens ,quail, dogs and cats. Our water comes from a natural spring. The loft is open and airy with numerous windows and a high ceiling. This is a adequate sized room for two people, the couch bed is really meant for small children or the need for two beds. . There is not a separate bedroom so the space is shared. With a private deck hanging over the woods. There is not child proof railing on the deck, please be careful of your little ones. The bathroom is small but functional. Look at the pictures for more info. We don’t allow boats or trailers down the driveway, there isn’t adequate room or a turn around. Guests are free to visit our organic garden. There is a fire pit out behind the loft with chairs. Please let me know when you are going to use it We are here most of the time, but like to leave you alone to enjoy your stay. I have several brochures in the loft of various attractions. There is also a guest handbook that I have written up to help you with places to eat and visit and emergency info. Please park in front of the steps going up to the loft. The loft is straight ahead at the end of the driveway Guests have informed us that Apple Maps takes them to a different location.
