Beach is 400 mts and you can also count on beach equipment (umbrella, chairs) during high season. 24hs Reception, parking, security. The apartment has balcony/terrace, bbq, 2 flat TVs, fully equipped kitchen with stoves, electric oven, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave. You will have access to all Green Park facilities + Solanas Vacation Club facilities and activities except access to the Crystal Lagoon. It is a super safe environment in the middle of nature and metres away from one of the most beautiful beaches of Punta del Este. For more info visit the Solanas Vacation Club and Green Park web pages please. The area itself is super quiet but within the last years it has been developed a lot which is a good thing. Crossing the Interbalnearia route (in front of Solanas) you will find 2 supermarkets (El Dorado and Cinthia), there is one big Parrilla/Pizza place called “Solanas” which is impossible not to see and next to it there is a place called “Medialunas y algo más” which is a great place to buy things for the tea time, next to it you will find a laundry place which will be much cheaper in order to wash your clothe than to send it to the Green Park laundry. Next to Cinthia there is a really good place –and cheap also- to eat called “Lobo Suelto”, if you guys are vegetarian you should definitely try the Seytan Chivito which is AMAZING. Following that little street in direction to Montevideo you will also find a pharmacy, another place to eat called “Insiemme” and a very good pizza place called “Mandala Pizza”. The Ancap gas station also has a coffee place. The nearest beach is just in front of the complex, crossing the Interbalnearia route you walk 300mts and you will find it, it is called “Solanas Beach”. At that beach during the season they build a “Parador” where the Complex organizes some activities as well. According to most people that is one of the most beautiful beaches of around Punta del Este. Other attractions could be “La Pataia”, go to have some tea or coffee at sunset to “Las Cumbres” hotel which is right on Route 12, ten minutes away from the apartment with a spectacular view of the Laguna del Sauce where the sunsets are just out of this world. Very near you also have Lussich Arboretum, Casapueblo and of course the city of Punta del Este and Maldonado where you can find everything you might be looking for. Besides the Solanas Restaurant which is very good and also has delivery during the season, close by you can try “El Viejo Almacén”, “Pachamama” and “Medio y Medio”. In Punta del Este, “Guappa”, “El Secreto”, “Lo de Tere” and restaurants around the harbour are very nice as well. A little further away you have “La Barra” area with its bohemian vibe that is also a must to know. 1- Check in / Check out. Right after getting in the complex the first thing you should do is to go to the GP reception to Check In, there you will get the apartment keys, towel cards and the seals. You can also ask there for umbrellas and beach chairs for everyone staying at the apartment. You will find the reception by following the entrance road until the street ends that is exactly where the Khalua Restaurant is (Solanas restaurant, very good and totally recommended), there you need to turn left and over your left hand side you will see the other GP blocks. Right behind the second Green Park Block you will find the GP reception, there is a sign marking the spot but it is kind of hard to see, anyway, I am sure you will not have any problem finding it. That same reception is where you need to do the Check Out before you leave. The Check In time is normally around 16hs and Check Out is around 10hs. We will ask you to be punctual with the Check Out since there might be some new guests arriving after you but thinking about the Check In, in some cases we can be more flexible about it. You just let me know around which time you think you will be arriving and we will try to have things ready for you before 16hs, in case this is not possible you can still arrive earlier and start using the complex facilities until the apartment is ready.
