Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure the studio apartment is in a great location for you to maximize your time in Bermuda. The studio is ideal for for up to two people. The City of Hamilton is 0.25 miles away. During your stay you will have full access to large pool & BBQ area. The location also works well for those on sports trips as it’s within walking distance to the National Stadium for sporting & musical events & one block away from the Triathlon & Marathon Weekend routes. The studio apartment is tucked behind the main house with its own quiet private patio and yet is a quick walk to the center of Hamilton for all the shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the bus and ferry terminals. There is a bus stop at the end of the road. There is also room on the property to park rental bikes or a Twizzy (electric 4 wheel vehicle). If you are renting electric bikes or cars you can charge them on the property overnight for a small additional fee. The patio has a table and chairs for you to relax with your morning coffee before heading out to explore the island, or a nice glass of wine after a day of sun bathing. The pool is ideally designed so you can relax in the shallow end with a cold beverage or splash about and dive for treasures in the deep end. The pool is private but is shared with the main house. By the pool is a large outdoor kitchen with BBQ that you are welcome to use. Utensils are not kept outside due to weather but can easily be provided for you to use. The kitchenette comes with a fridge/freezer, coffee maker, a toaster oven, a single portable stove burner, pot, cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs and glasses. Other amenities include air conditioning, unlimited Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with Netflix, clean linen (sheets, towels and blankets), beach towels, heated towel rack, iron and ironing board (provided on request), hair dryer, basic soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, grocery shopping bags, flash light, umbrella, cleaning supplies, local maps, activities and restaurant guides. Some groceries can be pre-purchased upon request for you if you are arriving late, however tea and coffee are complimentary. The studio has a comfortable queen sized sofa bed which can easily be opened and closed with one person. There is a convenience store one block away. A full grocery store is about 0.25 miles away. All the bars and restaurants in town are within walking distance or a $10 cab ride home. There is a lockbox with the key. The code will be provided prior to check in. The studio is a short walk across the pool area which you are welcome to use throughout your stay. The private patio area in front of the studio is also your to enjoy. By far the best and cheapest way to get around is on the buses and ferries. There is a bus stop at the end of my road and the bus and ferry terminals are between 0.5miles and 0.75miles away You can also rent electric bicycles which are very easy to use and not that much exertion! Two seater electric mini cars are available from a few companies (websites coming) and are a big hit with tourists. Taxis are also available. You can also rent scooters although I would recommend people only rent these if you have experience on motorbikes/mopeds. Airport pick up and drop off is available for a small additional fee also. Bermuda is a sub tropical island with the associated weather. During the winter months it can be damp and cold with high humidity. In the summer the humidity makes it feel far warmer than the written temperature would make it seem. It is therefore recommended to always have the air conditioning or dehumidifier running. We also have a small variety of harmless bugs that you may see such as ants. Every effort is made to keep these outside! I have two large dogs who love people but they do not have access to the part of the property the studio is on, or the pool area. They may be out in the yard by the gate to the main road but can easily be moved should you not wish to interact with them when entering or exiting the property.
