Warm refuge in Cajamarca city, Peru

A bright room inside a three bedroom apartment. With a double bed and an additional mattress for a third person, equipped with closet and desk. Permanent water all day. The first day of your stay, we offer a complimentary Cajamarquino breakfast. It is 15 minutes (walking) from the city's Plaza de Armas and well connected with other places of interest by public transport. In the vicinity you will find green spaces, entertainment and shopping centers The apartment is on the top floor of a 80's four-story building and it's surrounded by greenery, where you can go sit, relax and watch the beautiful sky and mountains of Cajamarca. The bright and airy space is perfect for either a short or long stay in the city. The room can comfortably accommodate 3 people, two in one bed and one in an extra mattress. With permanent water all day. The area is near several shops, wineries, bakery, hairdressers, pharmacies, gym and restaurants. Plus, one block away you can find "El Quinde" shopping mall and 10 minutes away walking you will find Open Plaza and Royal Plaza shopping centers. The central location allows you to walk to the historic city center (15 minutes) or you can go by taxi in 5 minutes (pay S /. 3.50). By public transport you'll pay S/. 0.8 or 0.7 soles and it will leave you just 4 blocks away from the main square. Around this area you'll find tourist agencies, cheese shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. The airport is located within 8 - 10 minutes by taxi, depending on the traffic. A taxi will charge you around 5 soles. -The kitchen, living room and dining room are available for guests to use. -This flat is 100% non smoker. -The other rooms in the house are not accessible or available. I like talking with the guest and interacting with them, especially regarding to places to visit and walk around the city. I have worked many years in environmental research and rural development projects so this is always a very good topic to start a conversation. I try to be at home every time I have a guest. The front of the apartment passes Hoyos Rubio Avenue, where you will find a variety of small businesses (restaurants, shops, hairdressers, pharmacies, gym, dance studio, etc), and is a 08 minute drive from the local airport. You can reach Plaza de Armas within 15 minutes walking, around which there are a variety of restaurants, cafes, clubs and discos. Urban transport in Cajamarca can be confusing and stressful. Depending of the place you want to go, I can let you know which bus or taxi and where to take it. There is a Bus stop a block away from the flat. In the kitchen there is always a thermo with hot water, cups, coffee, tea and herbs filter for guests. Please understand you'll be sharing the house with the host, so be respectful and kind. Wash everything you use and keep the home as clean as you find it.
