El Nido -The Nest In The Vineyard

El Nido is a comfortable small house in the countryside of Colonia del Sacramento with 2 bedrooms (one double bed, one twin). There's a pool to enjoy the summer months. From here you'll discover the "other" Colonia, the one in the country, just ten minutes away from the old town by car. We are 10 kilometers away from Colonia, a 15 minute drive. Taxis to and from El Nido cost approximately 14 dollars and is the way most of our guests get to the houses. No kids allowed. A 2 bedroom house in the countryside of Colonia del Sacramento. Located 8 kilometers from Colonia del Sacramento, El Nido is a casita with 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with 2 singles) for 4 people. We moved to our house (located 70 meters from the cabin) and we kept the cabin as a fully equipped guest house with a kitchen, bathroom (with shower), living-dinning room with a stove, a table for 4 and an outside deck to enjoy the sunset. There's a pool, a traditional water tank conditioned to enjoy it in summer months. We are located 2 kms away from the river (that has a beautiful sandy beach) and activities in the area include horseback ridding, footing and sightseeing. We can coordinate visit to wineries in Carmelo, 75km away. We provide sheets and towels as well as coffee, mate, salt, pepper, etc and cleaning materials. The nearest supermarket is 3km away . We suggest you get groceries before coming to the house. There is a barbecue to make asados with space of shade to enjoy them. We have 3 properties in total on Airbnb, 2 treehouses (one with a loft bedroom) and a 2 bedroom house. They are more than 40 meters from each other, giving you plenty of space and green to relax. The maximum capacity is 4 people. No children allowed. The house with the full kitchen, fridge and dinning table, outside deck, barbecue area, wood for the fireplace. The pool, shared with two other houses. We provide an "Emergency box" with a few things in case you don't want to go out shopping. In the box: A bottle of wine and one of beer, pasta, rice, instant soup, tomato sauce, tuna and grated cheese. We enjoy talking to guests and recommend them places to visit in Colonia, as well as activities in the area. Usually we welcome them with some homemade baked breads and jams. It is a peaceful area in the countryside, close from town and some great white sand beaches (river, not sea) and local producers. You can come by car or bike or or take a taxi from the bus station or the port where the ferries arrive from Buenos Aires. The public transportation available leaves you 3km away from the property, a taxi from town costs approximately 13 usd. I lived in London, Paris and Barcelona in the past, so I can speak English, French (a bit rusty as I don't practice it much) and Catalan (also a bit rusty). Also a little Italian and I understand Portuguese.
