Wake to a volcano view!

Welcome to Casablanca - where you can watch the sun rise over the volcano from the upstairs master suite! Our house was completely remodeled in 2018 with contemporary finishes, 2 bedrooms, and A/C. We also enjoy lots of private outdoor space. We are located: -10 minutes to Sky Adventures -15 mins to Arenal Nat'l Park -20 mins to several hot springs -35 mins to La Fortuna -lake activities, horse riding and tours available in the pueblo! INTERNET UPGRADE- 5 Mbps up/down with battery backup. Casablanca is a stand alone home with a large yard. You will have private access to both. There is a small mirador that we like to use to meditate and a spot at the top of the property to hang the hammock (provided in the home). Each bedroom is furnished with custom, locally made furniture and a comfy mattress for your enjoyment at the end of a day of adventure or for sleeping in. The upstairs suite has a private bathroom with an all glass shower. The downstairs bedroom also has a bath with a shower and sliding doors onto a small patio. any and all 😊 Our local co-hosts, Tomas and team, are available to assist. El Castillo is a small Costa Rican village nestled on the side of a hill that lies between Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano, and the Children's Eternal Rain Forest. At Casablanca, you will share the village with lots of friendly locals (of both the animal and human kind). The village is generally quiet between the hours of 9pm and 7am. There are several restaurants and a pulperia whithin walking distance. The house is tucked away at the end of a small road and is very private. You will enjoy views of both the lake and the volcano from the upstairs master suite. We are so fortunate to be able to drink virgin water (no added chemicals and high PH) directly from the aquifer. El Castillo is a rural village and infrastructure in the area is sometimes affected by heavy storms/landslides in the jungle. The authorities usually respond quickly and outages are normally short and almost never longer than a few hours. 4WD vehicle is STRONGLY recommended for getting around the area.
