The tiki is a favorite for sunsets. Access to garden, bbq, ranch/deck, swimming pool, private area for washing clothes. IMPORTANT- Spotty WiFi - signal is not reliable in entire Roca Verde complex. My parents, the owners, live in the main house which is completely separate from the guest house. They can be available as needed. Feel free to drop by in the afternoons for coffee and to practice your Spanish - they are native Costa Ricans and speak very little English. Located in the upscale, secured Roca Verde gated community, home to may expats. Banks, restaurants, a farmer's market and town shops are located in the center of town, about 1 km away from this community. Renting a car is the best way to enjoy Costa Rica. Most tourists drive as the bus system is slow and not very reliable. Not suitable for handicapped guests as there are stairs to access the accommodations built under a huge deck for added privacy. There is no A/C or hot water to wash dishes. Hot water for showering and fans available. Park your car securely inside the gated property. WiFi works best upstairs in tiki hut area, which you can make your personal office.
