Sunny riverside carriage house

Come relax in our beautiful guest apartment. Up a private staircase, above a detached garage, you'll be at home w/ a full kitchen, 1.5 baths, Queen Tempurpedic bed and a view of the river (also great for a dip). We love it here and know you will too. The apartment is private, quiet, bright, and comfortable. It is the perfect escape. During the summer, guests are welcome to use the dock and swim in the river (at your own risk, please -- the river is freshwater tidal and has a strong current, so you must be careful!). We will try to meet our guests when they arrive, if possible, or at least sometime during their visit. In general, we are interested to meet you and happy to talk, but also plan to respect your privacy. Bowdoinham is "Maine's Craftiest Town" and recognized as one of the state's "Best Places to Live." It's a remarkable community, a mix of farmers, artisans, professionals, and generally thoughtful, down-to-earth good folks. We have a pack-and-play available for use, if needed. We've indicated "no pets." We do have two dogs here, and if you have a friendly dog you'd like to bring along, just let us know.
