This is a relatively undiscovered beautiful stretch of sand and is home to diverse and striking ecology only at 1 hour 1/2 from the Juan Santa Maria International Airport (SJO). Our property hosts both sandy inter-tidal and the mangrove estuary ecosystems. You will enjoy spotting various fauna, including the owl butterfly, the stocky green iguana, the scarlet macaw, flocks of pelicans overhead, along with an assortment of other colorful birds, as well as a variety of crabs and frogs. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the white-faced capuchin monkey along the esterillos (estuary). A very large porch surrounded by tropical garden and ocean view. Tucked away on the beach, this is a peaceful relaxing safe location. The picturesque beach is a sandy surfers haven, maintaining a close distance to the highway, gas, shopping, restaurants, and many national parks and wildlife reserves.
