State Street Fruit Store, a neighborhood grocery, deli, and excellent wine shop, is two blocks away at 51 State St. Across the street is Hungry Ghost, an award-winning bakery that turns out the most delicious breads in Massachusetts from their wood-fired ovens every day—until they run out, which can happen anytime. Sutter's Meat Market, at 65 King St. (an even closer walk from your apartment), sells meats from local farms. If you crave fresh fish, visit North Shore Seafood, our local fish market that gets its fish delivered directly from Boston's fish piers; it's at 166 King St., a five-minute walk from your place. On the way you'll pass our local coffee joint, Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters, 4 minutes from home.
