Located on 100 ft of beach frontage on the beautiful Northumberland Strait-the warmest ocean waters this side of the Carolinas! The beach is only steps away! Inside you’ll find 2 bedrooms (double bunk beds in one and a queen bed in the other), a pull out couch, fully equipped kitchen (full size stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, toaster oven and coffee maker, as well as dishes, pots and utensils), and a huge (16 x 22 ft) enclosed sunroom. A cozy fireplace is perfect for cool spring or fall evenings and a cupboard of games provide for hours of family fun (Wifi is also included). A large deck wraps around two sides of the cottage and provides the perfect location to watch the sun set (the colorful sunsets can’t be missed!), sip a cool drink, or barbecue a delicious meal. An outside, open air ‘shower’ is located at the far end of the deck. Our newly built stairs lead you to the beach, and our fire pit provides the perfect place to roast marshmallows! We are located just a short walk from the Bread Basket Bakery and a 10 min drive takes you to downtown Tatamagouche where you’ll find the amenities of the grocery, liquor and hardware stores, cafes, a local market and more.
