Good nightlife venues are a 20 minute drive in either direction. Waterfalls, hiking trails and horseback riding are all within a 15 minute drive. Public bus transport is approximately a 15 minute walk from the house. The bus will take you to the nearest large town (San Isidro El General) or the other way to Dominical.
