Catskills Retreat - ski season dates available!

This private, light-filled country cabin on 3.5 acres in Gilboa, NY is a perfect secluded retreat for adventurers, families, or groups of friends. Relax while grilling out on the large new deck with great mountain views, then start a fire in the wood burner or fire pit! The cabin is located near Hunter, Windham, and Plattekill ski areas, as wells as Minekill State Park and the Catskill Scenic Trail, making it perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin is in a great location in the small town of Gilboa, NY, near Roxbury. It is very close to Hunter, Windham, and Plattekill Mountains, as well as various wedding venues (The Roxbury Barn, The Inn at West Settlement, & Blenheim Hill Farm are very close)! The huge open lawn (3.5 acres) and great outdoors space is incredible! It is 3 bedrooms (2 queens, 3rd a trundle with two twins) and 1 bath. The cabin has a large new deck, fit with a big wood table handmade by William that seats 8, a Weber gas grill and a flat top grill. All areas of the house and lawn are accessible, including the deck, fire pit and grill. You can reach us by phone, text or email anytime. We will not be in the area during your stay but will send assistance if any issues arise. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions/concerns at any point - we want you to have a wonderful experience! *Our neighbors keep an eye on the cabin when we're not there and keep us informed of any issues, and we can send them by if any issues arise on guests' end. Hunter, Windham, and Plattekill Mountains are less than 30 minutes from the property. The nearby town of Prattsville has a great grocery store (Jim's Great American), liquor store, and hardware store. Local restaurants: Clark's - 5 minutes up the road (great burgers!), Prattsville Tavern is 15 minutes away (also great burgers!), The Bull & Garland is about 20 minutes away in Hobart, or head 40 minutes into Big Indian to our favorite spot, Peekamoose Restaurant for an incredible meal. Prattsville Diner, Creekside Cafe, or the Breakfast Club are great options for breakfast nearby! Finally, West Kill Brewing, Green Wolf Brewing, and Scrumpy Ewe Cider are great daytime activities.
