Traditional Mexican architecture in wooden beams, wild cane and hand-painted tiles define the design of the THREE spacious guest rooms of the adobe get lodge. Each room can be reserved with a king size bed or two twin beds, and large enough to add an extra single bed. The owner, Mary Jane, can be booked for guided bird-washing excursions. Guests can enjoy all the ground and visit the horses from outside of their stall or turnout areas and pastures. Guests are strictly prohibited from entering spaces with horses unless otherwise given permission. Centrally located in the valle of Tlacolula, the eastern arm of the great valley of Oaxaca yet only 30 minutes from downtown Oaxaca, Rancho Pitaya offers the perfect balance between spectacular scenery, exotic flora and fascinating cultural and historical destinations. Rent a car or the staff can easily book a trusted taxi, at about 10$ U.S. per hour for excursions. The Staff can also arrange tours with authorised guides.
