1885 Fruit Packing House

Historic renovated building with vineyard and Seneca Lake views in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country. Two-story, one bedroom, two full bath home located on our 5th generation family homestead. Thank you. Two story open floor plan. First floor has a queen size futon that could accommodate other guests with permission from owner (and at additional cost). There is a full bath on the first floor. The second floor is an open master suite with full bath and 360 degree views of vineyards and Seneca Lake. The surrounding property is private. We ask guests to not wander through the neighboring vineyards. We do own nearby vineyards and would be happy to give tours and allow hikes if feasible with our vineyard work schedule. Many local restaurants and winery tasting rooms to enjoy! Finger Lakes National Forest hiking and trail rides. Local lake access for swimming. A treasure of a spot! We live in the main farmhouse on the property and make ourselves available if our guests have any questions or need anything. Covid-19 Update: As of June 5th 2020 most wineries and restaurants are open for outdoor consumption. Beginning June 12th wineries will be allowed to open for tastings, however many are now requiring reservations. Please check and plan ahead!Hector New York is a food and wine mecca! World class wines and fresh local food that will excite your senses. Enjoy local favorites within walking distance; Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, Hector Wine Company, Red Newt Winery and Bistro. Or venture to enjoy over 30 wineries around Seneca Lake. Many local establishments offer live music weeknights and weekends. Drive yourself with a designated driver, or hire one of the local touring and limo companies. September/October Note: It's harvest time in Finger Lakes Wine Country that is accompanied by certain unique sounds that help us protect the grapes from predators (like deer, birds, turkeys, etc.). These sounds happen during daylight hours and may include bangs from propane cannons, bird distress calls, etc. We hope you understand these noises help protect our livelihood and that you won't find them too disturbing.
