The neighborhood and neighbors are great. The resort community has 24 hour security so you will always feel safe and secure. The location provides for a very secluded and quiet environment , with fantastic views of the mountains to the south and the Caribbean sea to the North. You can feel the sea breeze for most of the day, but by mid afternoon the breeze combined with the shade provided by the palm trees provides the most relaxing atmosphere. The tourist center of Ocho Rios is 15 minutes’ drive away from Richmond Estate resort and getting around the town and to other major towns is easy and hassle free. There are a variety of modes of transportation to choose from, including public , mini-buses and private taxi. The cost is also very affordable. Whilst be provide guest with basic Cable channels ( a mix of 50- channels including movie, kids , religious, news , music options) , we also provide guest with the option of enhancing their viewing pleasure by purchasing additional premium movie channels from our cable service provider. This ranges from US$30 up depending on the additional channels required. We offer self-catering accommodations - with guests typically making their own arrangements for preparation of meals and personal laundry. Should guest however require such additional services , assistance will be provided in arranging these for our guests. Dedicated meal preparation services start at US$25 per day. Laundry services are provided and charged at ( US$15 per load basis inclusive of washing supplies). The use/ operation of the washing machine/ dryers is restricted to housekeeping staff on property.
