Los Titos Coffee Farm is a peaceful working farm 1h and 45min from San Jose, at an altitude of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ft.). The 100-year-old guesthouse serves many purposes. Reconnect with nature and watch many bird species, stroll around our tropical gardens, look for sloths chilling in the trees. Enjoy a nice nap on our comfortable beds and dark rooms with wooden shutters or get some work done surrounded by nature with our high-speed internet. The main guesthouse area was refurbished in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Traditional high-ceilings, wooden floors and original layout of the house were kept while adding modern plumbing, wide headed showers to the 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Inside the house, you will find hand-painted decorations by Adela in every corner, sleep for hours in our dark rooms with wooden shutters, or enjoy a family meal on our large dining table. Outside the house, you can walk around our gardens and short forest trail to admire tropical plants like heliconias, bird-watch species like the oropendola, or enjoy a cup of our farm-grown coffee in our cosy ivy-covered terrace area. We have fast and reliable Wifi access through the entire house and terrace area. Master bedroom: approximate area of 17m2 This room has a king bed, a closet, a dresser, and two nightstands. A full bathroom with shower is right in front of the room. West-facing window with a view to the hills of the dairy farm across the road. A crib is available upon request. Queen Room: approximate area of 9m2 This room has a queen bed, a closet, and 2 nightstands. 1 north-facing window showing the driveway. A full bathroom with a shower is on the other side of the house, to be shared with the twin room. Twin room: approximate area of 8m2 This corner room has 2 twin beds, a closet and a nightstand. 1 north-facing window showing the main entrance and 1 west-facing window showing a stunning tree fern. A full bathroom with a shower is on the other side of the house, to be shared with the queen room. Kitchen: Fully equipped with basic cooking musts (salt, pepper, oil). Fridge and freezer, wine fridge, 4 burner induction kitchen with an oven. Microwave. Toaster Oven. Blender. Dishwasher. Ice machine. Cutlery, cooking utensils, and glassware. 4 seat kitchen table. Living room: Access to the front porch and a west-facing window. Smart TV so you can log in to your Netflix account. You will also find many books about the flora and fauna in the area, and about Costa Rica in general. Free access to many board games, and binoculars useful for bird watching and grinding sloths in the trees surrounding the farm. One of the sofas has a pull-out bed that comfortably sleeps 2 (recommended for children) Outdoor Area Front porch: Approximate area of 16m2 with a west-facing view of the dairy farm on the other side of the dirt road. Small seating area in the corner. Back terrace: This ivy-covered space keeps the terrace cool during hot summer days, and cosy during the wet afternoons of the rainy season. Comfortable seating area for 7 people and a table and chair set, perfect to enjoy breakfast while watching the birds. Steps away from the swimming pool. Adela and Phillip (Adela’s son) will greet you at check-in and be available to help organize and recommend any activities to do in the area. As this is a working farm, we might be staying at the small cabin next door, but will also stay out of your way so you can enjoy some privacy. Los Titos is located in a very safe neighbourhood about 15 minutes away from downtown Turrialba. Where you can get all your basic food and medicine needs in Turrialba.
