Swiftwater- Log Cabin on Rough River Lake

This one level secluded log cabin sits on a graveled road along with one other cabin. It features 2 Bedrooms each with its own spacious Bathroom. There is an open vaulted ceiling with wood beams that make up the Living/Dining and Kitchen area. The Mater Bedroom has a queen bed and TV. The adjoining Master Bath has a jetted tub and oversize walk-in tiled shower. The Guest Bedroom has a queen bed and adjoining spacious Bathroom with Bathtub/Shower. Both bedrooms have high vaulted ceilings. The entire space is warm and inviting. Inside is an open truss ceiling with a stone fireplace and gas logs. A large flat screen TV sits on the mantel. This true log cabin was built by "Honest Abe Cabins" The front deck looks over the Rough River Lake. It is equipped with a gas grill and outdoor seating. There is not a dock in the area by the cabin. You will need to drive over to the Rough River Marina to dock your boat, which is a 5 minute drive. There are many activities at the Resort/Marina-a sandy beach, bathrooms, tennis courts, and Grayson's Landing Restaurant. The Dam General Store is another great place to eat. This is located right across the street from the Rough River State Park Lodge. Once you have booked your stay, I will text you directions to the cabin and how to access the cabin. Please Note: Pets are not allowed Marina Point is a graveled road to get to the cabin. The driveway up to the cabin is asphalt. There is a flat area to park at the top of the driveway. There is only one other cabin on the street, so things are very quiet and peaceful. Close proximity to Kentucky Bourbon Tour and Mammoth Cave. You will need a car to get around this area. There is no public transportation. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON PROPERTY.
