Fast internet & desk for those working remotely. Fully air conditioned living area & bedrooms and full size kitchen appliances. Within 10 minutes from stateside retail like Super-Walmart, Walgreens, Sam's and chain restaurants. Convenient to fantastic local dining, shopping and adventure!!! This bright home has an updated kitchen with full sized appliances, two bedrooms with a/c, two bathrooms and basic amenities. The primary bedroom has a king size bed (2020) and on suite. The second room has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms face the ocean. The second bathroom is a small bathroom with a corner shower. There is a new a/c in the living area, and a smart TV. The kitchen is stocked with utensils and cooking ware. It has a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove top, toaster oven, microwave, ninja blender, and breakfast area with 2 counter height stools. There is also a dining room set for sit-in dining. The house is clean, bright and the decor is minimal. Enjoy the ocean breeze from the front terrace! Please note there is a one bedroom studio with private entrance in the back of the property. More details under ** Other things to note** The house is located in a residential family neighborhood that fronts the ocean. Kai's Casa offers a local living experience and is very convenient for those looking to explore the island. The beach is flanked by a reef. The tide-pools are perfect for kids and seashell lovers alike - little ones might want to wear reef shoes! Head east on your early morning beach stroll to watch amazing sunrises. Enjoy the most stunning sunsets by heading west along the shore. The house is 5 minutes from Hatillo's most famous beach, Playa Sardinera. There is a neighborhood children's park with public showers one block away. If you are into fitness, visit the city park with a track. Just follow the shore line west to the top of the hill. We will send a personal digital key the day of your arrival, so you can check yourself in. We can be reached by phone in English or Spanish. Our property manager Lily, is my mom and she lives in the neighborhood. She is very friendly and is available if you need personal assistance. The house is in a quiet family neighborhood mostly made up of locals. Recently some of the homes have been purchased as vacation homes by continental USA residents. This neighborhood is experiencing a re-birth and some of the properties in the area are being renovated. The houses next to our casita are not under construction so the only constant sound you should hear is the waves. There is a beautiful park with a track, kids area and lookout for whale watching. Just follow the road that is parallel to the beach towards the west. There are several fast food options nearby, as well as continental US chain stores. The neighborhood location is very convenient to the highways that connect the island. It is ideal as a jump off point to explore all that the island has to offer. We recommend guests rent their own vehicle as public and ride-share transportation is almost non-existent in the immediate area. The back patio is a shared space with guests from Kai's Kasita (small guest suite in the back patio). You are welcome to BBQ or sit back and relax to the sound of ocean waves in the front terrace. We do not allow parties at this property.
