The grounds feature a gazebo by the pond and its three waterfalls, as well as a patio with an outdoor fireplace. There is a 3/4 acre lawn for aerobics, frisbee, or croquet. Proprietors, Scott & Melody will enjoy meeting you and telling you all about Oregon, the state they love. We also have a full time innkeeper Sherwood, who will always be available for your visit. He is happy to assist you with suggestions for sight seeing, restaurants, wine tours and general area information. We are fortunate to be centered in a virtual vortex of places to visit and things to do. We have always enjoyed exceptional natural beauty surrounding us, and now we have an explosion of wineries, breweries, cideries, and outstanding restaurants to make Yamhill County not only beautiful, but a class act and a fantastic place to visit. Our bed and breakfast is designed to capture both the scenic splendor of the place we call home, and the new-found sophistication of our slice of Oregon Having your own vehicle is very helpful as we are a distance (1 1/2 hr) from the major airport, PDX. Also we are just outside the small community of Amity, OR. There are so many day trips within 1-2 hrs away that you will not want to miss on your visit. So you will need transportation. But, once you have arrived we are happy to assist you in finding wine tours during your visit. Bella Collina is the perfect launching point for over 100 wineries and tasting rooms in the very heart of Oregon's wine country. The world-famous Oregon coast is just an hour away, as is beautiful Silver Falls State Park with its 10 spectacular waterfalls and over seven miles of trails. Also just one hour from Portland, the top microbrewery city in the nation. The city with the motto “Keep Portland Weird” provides many unique interesting activities and events. We are located only 1½ hours from “The Columbia Gorge” with the greatest concentration of high waterfalls in the U.S. along side Yosemite and Hood River one of the greatest wind surfing capitals of America.
