Barn View Room in Mid 1850's Home

Rich history going back to the Drake family of oil well fame in a serene setting with walking trails and Lake Bomoseen nearby. Hiking, kayaking and skiing nearby. Rutland is 14 miles away. Castleton State College is right down the road. Air conditioned room with a private bathroom on the second floor. Adequate size room with a queen size bed and a twin bed also with a desk and couch. Breakfast Room on first floor has a TV, microwave, Keurig machine, toaster, small refrigerator, fresh water cooler and a table with four chairs. There is also a small couch. Assorted breakfast foods are provided. Screened in porch, back outdoor deck, various outside sitting areas and on site walking trails. I am generally around in the morning and evening and delight interacting with guests. Quiet area but yet close to most necessities. Amtrack Station is about 3 miles away. I can usually pick up or drop off guests that choose to arrive or depart this way. A local cab service is also helpful. Lake Bomoseen is nearby for swimming and boating. Castleton University and Green Mountain College are also close by. Skiing and hiking are short drives. Killington and Okemo are each 40 minutes away. If you arrive by biking there is a barn for overnight storage.
