We will be renting out our brand new daylight basement apartment (separate entrance). Near Downtown! Includes one free driveway parking spot. This is an ideal location to visit Portland sights! 15 min walk to pioneer square. This Portland Heights (SW Hills) home has a commanding views-city, river, and mountains. This location is a six-minute walk downhill to the MAX Lines, and quick access to OHSU. An ideal location for visiting Portland downtown, OHSU and PSU. There is a separate private entrance. Bedroom 1 (double bed) has an on-suite stylish bathroom that has a full shower with a tiled bench. Bedroom 2 (queen bed) has a closet and storage under the bed. The second bathroom has a claw-foot bathtub and shower combo with an Italian pedestal sink. There is a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. There is no separate living room. Kitchen/dinning and common area together. Kitchen/common area floors are travertine, bathroom floors are tiled and bedrooms are wood floors. The spacw was recently finished with mostly made in Oregon, USA or European materials. For Kids: We are happy to provide a travel crib, toys and children's books (please request) Guests will have access the whole apartment. There is a separate private side entrance to the space. Guests have their own private laundry facilities. We live above the daylight basement. when we are available we are happy to directly communicate with guests and recommend attractions and transportation options. We are also available over the phone or email. This location is walkable up and down the hill (if you are physicaly fit), it is a six minute walk each way up and down hill (you can take the wooden 206 stairs if you like) from the MAX Green, Yellow and Orange Lines at the PSU stop. But if you carry things it maybe hard to walk! It is about 50 minute MAX ride from the Portland International Airport to PSU (end of yellow and green lines) stop . Closest Family Activities by are the following: OMSI 2.7 Miles OHSU 5 min by car and 19 min by bus that comes every 15 minutes The Oregon Zoo, Portland Children's Museum, World Forestry 3.0 miles, accessible by MAX. The Pittock Mansion 3.7 Miles Portland Japanese Gardens and Washington Park 2.8 miles, check out the international Rose test gardens or the outdoor theater in the summer Enjoy the hiking or running trails Marquam Trail Loops Access to Council Crest 0.9 miles Keller Auditorium and Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall 1.7 miles. Restaurants you can easily walkable: Raven and Rose, Nel Centro, Higgins and Bhan Tai among others. We do have a T.V but no cable connection. But we have a USB cord for you to hook up to the computer. There is one flight of stairs to the apartment.
