All amenities provided queen size beds, including fully equipped kitchen, bbq, fire pit, outdoor seating and dinning area, swimming on sanding beach line, water toys, great fishing and boat rentals. Picturesque sunsets with Western exposure. Cottages are self contained allowing for maximum privacy. Full use of 4 acres and 500 feet of Lake front. Absolutely, we are living on site. So ask any questions when needed. The Buckhorn area is famous for its Wildlife Art Galleries, Craft Shows, Antique Stores, Petroglyph Provincial Park, Warsaw Caves and Kawartha Race Track offering horse racing, car racing and slots. A pleasant two-hour drive from Toronto, Birch Bend is located just north of Peterborough, in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes Region. Must have your own Vehicle. Bring your own bed linen and towels. For an extra fee (paid on site) we do have linens and towels available. (15$ / bed) We have a small playground for your children. We are also pet friendly. We have life jackets for all sizes for when your family uses our kayaks, canoes and paddle boat. No charge for canoes, kayaks and paddle boat when renting a cottage.
