Gorgeous James River retreat home

Unique restructured barn home overlooking the James River on 13 acres of pristine woodland in Charles City, 25-minutes from downtown Richmond, 40 minutes to Williamsburg and directly on the new Capital Bike Trail. A "work of art"... 5 bedrooms, 6 baths-- this home is amazing and peaceful! Each bedroom has it's own unique charm...some with views of the river, all with private baths. Come relax on the porch facing the James...visit the Route 5 plantation homes, Civil War battlefields, Downtown RIchmond, Williamsburg, Jamestown, wildlife preserve Turkey Island views...or just relax and listen to the birds...eagles, too! There are 4 queen bedded rooms and one double, all with private baths. Home is also available for event only purposes for a maximum of 30 people (parking for 10-12 cars only). Please contact us for event pricing. The full house is accessible when rented. The 6th bedroom/office remains off limits and locked. The shed with tractor/lawn equipment is off limits. 13 acres of peaceful relaxation directly on the James river... a "retreat" with eagles soaring, fish jumping...and sunsets galore. You'll need a car, for sure!!! The closest super market is 15-20 minutes away... We do live in the house so there are personal items in the space... Check in after 3pm. Check out by 12oon. Also, we only rent to those guests that have already rented with Airbnb and have reviews on the site. Thanks!
