Kahina Lodge is located on Main Avenue just a few steps from shops and points of interest such as banks, restaurants, car rentals, tourist agencies etc. The Iloai room is a double room with private bathroom and private access to your room too. You have access to the kitchenette which is for shared use, you will find the fridge there. The frigobars have been removed because of very little use. You also have a living room/dining room with satellite TV and wifi. Kahina Lodge is a hostel with four very large and beautiful bedrooms. The comfort is basic but everything is there. We preferred double rooms to reduce the number of guests that we receive at the same time in order to have much more time for each of you to have good moments sharing and to make your stay unforgettable far away from all the stress. We are located on the main avenue but far from the noise of the city center. We have a very large garden which allows us to have a little more peace and privacy. And at the same time, being on the main avenue, you can walk out to the shops around us without any problem. You will have a private access to your room. In front of your bay window you have a terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful garden. If you don't want to cook, you can have breakfast as an option, Nicole will prepare it for you and if you don't want to the restaurant every day , you can buy your food and prepare it in the kitchenette at your disposal. If you stay with us for a long time you will be able to spend time in the living room/ dining room reading watching TV or posting your photos on social networks. There is also a large terrace where you can eat if the weather permits it and share some time with the other guests, if the weather is not nice you can still eat in the dining room. Nicole is very kind and will be more than happy to help your organize your stay on the Island. The neighbourhood where we are located is a shopping one. We have a gelateria, tourist agency, restaurant, café and kindergarten. It is a quiet area even though you are on the main avenue as all the noise is in the center about 1km from Kahina Lodge. On the island we do not have public transport. We have taxis but we recommend to our guests to hire their own transport or guided tour. Because with taxis we are not safe from falling on thieves asking for exorbitant prices In this pandemic season Kahina Lodge is doing everything necessary for you to travel in complete safety. The rooms will be disinfected before your arrival. Each room will remain empty 24 hours before your arrival so that there is no cross-contamination in the event of the presence of the virus. Sheets and towels will also be disinfected. When you arrive Nicole will welcome you, you must wear your mask in all common areas and respect social distancing. The kitchenette will have a new function in order to allow everyone to use it without risk of contamination, Nicole will explain to you on site. For those who take the breakfast option, it will be served in a bag and you can eat it wherever you want, this will be only during the pandemic.
