This house has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 12+, with a rich history and fantastic decor. Lots of space to stay and relax, and to explore the gorgeous, quiet countryside. 25+ to rent. Trained pets can be requested/accommodated for a fee. Welcome to the Mounce Mansion which was built in 1910. The history and architecture of the house is quite amazing. The property was recently in the Stephen King film Chapelwaite; the reason the house is still red for now. Guests have full access to all rooms in the house, however, the attic and basement are off limits. The house has air conditioning in 2 bedrooms, and kitchen. Fans located in all bedrooms. A fully stocked kitchen with lots of space to share a meal with family and friends. The sun room is a great place to enjoy your morning tea or coffee or to relax with a book. The games room has ping pong, foosball, darts, air hockey, and lots of board games for kids and adults. Walk down to the water edge, where you will find a small park, museum, cafe, and a public wharf to fish or to watch the tides. 5 minute walk. A minute from the Avondale winery, which has great food and wine! A great place to start a wine tour. Five spacious bedrooms, all with fans, and two with ac. The TV room has many movies you are welcome to watch. Enjoy with some popcorn! If you don’t want to cook, Windsor has some great restaurants you could try out. Our property is great for friends and family to get together and to enjoy the beautiful country. Larger events are welcome with a negotiated price. This property is perfect for smaller weddings, anniversary parties and special events. Request a pet if the dog is well trained and smaller in size. Guests are welcome in all rooms/areas of the house, except for the attic. Only guests listed during approval are permitted to stay on property (within reason) We do not live on the property.
