Are Tikioki: Beach House of Tikioki

Our beach house is across the road from a beautiful beach which is great for walks, snorkelling or snoozing. The house is casual island living - think of it like a family Bach! Bedrooms are upstairs and are small but comfortable and functional. Downstairs is open plan living with large sliding doors to capture the breeze. There is also a big shady balcony. Views to the mountains behind us and a 250m walk to the lagoon. As with any tropical islands there are chickens and small geckos! Are Tikioki is a family friendly beach pad with open plan living downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs. There is a functional kitchen with most of what you would need to cook with and a large shady balcony for resting, eating, reading or snoozing. Perfect for your tropical holiday! Not a resort but a comfortable homey space that will leave you with some disposable funds to spend on fishing, turtle or island tours. Across the road from the lagoon for great snorkelling On the bus route A whole house to yourselves You can catch the bus from the main road - just wave it down as it approaches (isn’t that so awesome!). Bus goes clockwise and counter clockwise hourly. Cycling or riding a motorbike is easy, as is hiring a car. Message us for details. Hot water is solar and more often than not this is all that is needed... but there is a ‘Booster switch’ in the upstairs bathroom should the water not be hot (e.g. if been no sun that day). It only takes 10 minutes to heat.
