This is a great studio apartment for up to three persons traveling together. Clean and comfortable with plenty ventilation and direct access to verandah. Friendly neighborhood with quick access to food and public transport. There is also a full laundromat just a block and a half away. Our sincere apologies. Studio Apartment available in Belmopan, the capital city of tropical Belize, in Central America . I am happy to assure you you can have a wonderful time working and living in Belmopan, and getting to know the multi-ethnic face of the area, within a relatively short time. Belmopan is comprised of the Creole, Garifuna, Maya, Central American Mestizo, Chinese, Taiwanese, Indian, North-Americans, and many Europeans that have chosen to make Belize their home. A large number of expats who work with the many embassies and consulates in Belmopan have an active community and social life here. This room can accommodate up to three persons. It is furnished, secure and clean. You also have verandah and yard access. This is a large air-conditioned room in a multi-apartment building with utilities and necessary furnishings. The shower has running hot and cold water. Shared areas are complimentary, not add-ons; we request your courtesy to other guests by tidying up after yourself immediately after using these areas. Also please be considerate with regards to noise volumes early in the morning, late evening and night. Level and frequency of my in person interaction is based on my availability at any point in time (not predictable). I am very responsive once an message or phone call through the Airbnb system is received. I am also happy to interact more with guests who are so oriented. Communication is very important, so we can be of most assistance to you and be able to assure you of good living. We are happy to oblige with information about different things or places to visit in the area. Once a report is received, we address any issues, for example 'cuts' in utilities or repairs, that are within our control within the shortest time possible. This rental is centrally located just two blocks from the George Price Center of Peace and Development, a Shopping Center, laundromat, eateries, vegetable market and corner shop. Public transport is a stone's throw away. Belmopan is centrally located in Belize, with public buses to the north, south, east and west. Belmopan is home to the national university and is the seat of government. Everything, including schools, medical facilities, banks, parks, tennis and basketball courts, are within walking or biking distance. On your time off, from Belmopan you can readily access the Guanacaste Park, ATM Caves, Cahal Pech and Xunantunich Maya Sites to the West. Southwards, lie the Blue Hole, Caves Branch Caves, plus beach fun at Hopkins other coastal Villages. To the East you have ziplining and caves at Jaguar Paw, the Belize Zoo, and the Old Belize Museum. All these are accessible by motor vehicle, with between 5 minutes to a 1 hour drive. Within an hour you can also get to the Boats in Belize City OR Dangriga Town which can take you to the islands for a day or two of island sun and then back for fresh water swimming or tubing on the mainland.
