December 1, 2020 - Under new management -This cabin, ‘Bird's Eye View’ is a charming cottage overlooking the small town of Newland in the heart of the High Country. The house was built by a young couple as their dream home, but dreams change and they moved out of the area. Now they gladly offer it to you as a vacation get-away! It is a perfect place for one or two couples, a small family and/or the outdoor enthusiasts! If you would like to venture out, although fairly secluded, you are close to many of the area's attractions. The town of Newland and its amenities like grocery stores restaurants is only 1 mile away. Grandfather Mountain about 8 miles away; Blue Ridge Pkwy: 7 miles; Banner Elk: 12 miles; Sugar Mountain: 10 miles, Beech Mountain: 18 miles; Linville Caverns: 17 miles. There are too many areas to list! So, whether you hike, bike, ski, board, climb, swim, fish, shop, or simply relax, this is a great place for your next vacation!! You will need 4wheel drive November - March to navigate the driveway in ice/snow.
