Beautiful lower level walkout in COUNTRY 15K from downtown Peterborough. Reflective waterfall/pond & gardens or if you like to be active pool(summer) & woodland hiking trails. Nearby boat launch on Otonabee River, excellent fishing. Large pool accommodates an active family(summer). Spacious family room with 60" HDTV (Bell Express & Netflix), kitchen & eating area. 4 bedrooms should be ample space for family/ friends. NO PETS & NON SMOKERS ONLY. WE LIVE ON MAIN LEVEL & DO NOT LIVE IN THE CITY. Our goal is to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. We accept NON SMOKERS ONLY. The lower level(2200 sq ft) can accommodate 8 guests and is located in a quiet residential country setting. There are 4 bedrooms with one queen bed in each. There is one full bathroom with tub and shower and a small 2 piece bathroom. Enjoy satellite TV with Netflix. Full kitchen with dishes and utensils provided. Basic breakfast items will be provided(milk, juice, bread, cereal, butter and jams) Our lower level(walkout) is very spacious and bright with lots of windows and doors. WE LIVE ON THE UPPER LEVEL. The larger swimming pool in the summer is shared with family. Guest have the lower level(walkout) of our home approximately 2200 sq. ft. There is a outside walkway with 9 steps down to the lower level. Backyard and swimming pool is shared with family. BBQ and seating on upper deck for your use. We are welcoming and available as needed. We want you to have space and enjoy your privacy, but love meeting each one of our guests and assisting in any way we can during your stay. You will also be able to reach us by phone/text if we happen to step out for a few hours. I do not prepare breakfast but stock the fridge with milk, juice, cream. In the cupboards you will find cereals, bread, peanut butter, jam and honey. Coffee and Teas provided. We also have a country store less than 1 kilometre that has cooked chicken/salads/potatoes etc. and a wide range of foods(mini supermarket). We are a quiet neighbourhood of 15 homes in the country. We are between 15-25 minutes from Peterborough depending where you are going. We share 25 acres of woodland with hiking trails that leads to the Otonabee River. There is a federal dock 1 minute drive where you can launch a boat or fish. We are minutes away from Golf Courses, Trans Canada Trail(biking and hiking) and in the winter cross country skiing. There are groomed snowmobile trails also in the winter nearby. Also the "World Famous Peterborough Lift Locks" and Trent Severn Waterway is nearby. You will need transportation to get to our home. We are about a 15 minute drive to downtown and 20 minutes to most other areas of Peterborough. Our home is in a small country subdivision. We live on the main level of the home and this is not a home for partying. When the seasonal pool is open it is shared with family. Weather depending pool is open from June to mid September. No smoking and No pets allowed No visitors allowed unless approved(usually not a problem) No non paying guest allowed overnight My daughter and her 2 children come to live with us in the summer months Paying person must be present during the stay WE ARE IN THE COUNTRY NOT THE CITY AND ONLY NON SMOKERS
