Chown River bus on the North beach of Haida Gwaii

The bus is located on the 2 acre property of a family of 4. The property sits on the Chown River and includes gardens, a riverside outdoor sauna, a trampoline, swing set, volleyball net and multiple decks for sipping coffee in the morning. The bus is a private accommodation and the yard is a shared space with long time community minded people. The property is across the road from a secluded sandy beach that has a view of Alaska. There is an outdoor composting toilet and outdoor hot water shower attached to the sauna. The bus has running water in the kitchen, but no indoor washroom. Can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Our family includes two working adults and 2 school aged children (aged 9 and 6). We live on the property and will likely welcome you to the property and show you around. You will have a nice balance of privacy and opportunity to meet locals from Haida Gwaii. Our property is located on a tidal river that is fun to swim and play in during the different tides. Across the road is a beach with that provides endless beach combing opportunities. There is a bakery bus 5 minutes away the runs May-September. The bus is located 10 minutes from Masset (5 minutes from Masset airport) and 20 minutes to Tow Hill. There is limited public transit, but the bus is an easy bike ride to town or from airport (bikes for rent at Masset airport).
