The French Broad River Log Cabin is a private retreat with a beautiful view of the French Broad River. We are located 15 minutes north of downtown Asheville, near the small quaint town of Weaverville. The cabin is very private, has a great hot tub and wood burning fireplace. There are many outdoor activities nearby and 2 beautiful parks on the river within a mile of the cabin. Please contact us with any questions, we look forward to hearing from you soon! The French Broad River Log Cabin is waiting for you to spend your next vacation! This private retreat is nestled on 4 private mountain acres with a straight view of the French Broad River. It is great for a couple who wants a cozy romantic get away with their sweetheart or for a family vacation with the kids. The stone wood burning fireplace will immediately invite you sit and relax with a good book. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook up a fabulous meal. If the outdoors is what you seek, look no further than the rocking chair front porch or deck with hot tub, where you can relax and listen to the roar of the river below. No matter what the occasion, you will enjoy the rustic luxury of this special place. We live in the area and will be available to assist you in any way possible during your visit. Dogs are allowed under certain conditions, please email for more details on our pet policy. The entire cabin is available for our guest to use. The cabin is located a half mile up a mountain gravel road. It is not very steep but there are some old raised concrete areas. You can access the cabin with a front wheel drive car, however rear wheel drive vehicles have had trouble. In winter months, we recommend a four or all wheel drive car this is needed there is snow or ice in the area. We require a 5 night stay over the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years holidays.
