Matadeiro Beach is a destination for those who like to enjoy beaches the way they were born, only water, sand and trees. The house is on the trail that goes to Praia da Lagoinha do Leste. There are no cars, buses, hotels, money changers or city noise at Matadeiro Beach. There is nothing more than bathers, fishing communities, surfers, families and nature, lots of nature. The house is 2 kilometers from the road, a wonderful walk on the beach to the house. There are people to carry your bags for a small price. We live in the House next door, If you need help. Matadeiro Beach is located between the beaches of Armação and Lagoinha do Leste. The access is made by crossing the river Sangradoro, that begins in the Lagoa de Peri (Lake) and ends on the cost of Matadeiro. The amount of water in this river is related to the level of the Lagoa de Peri, the amount of rain and the tides. Some days, it is easier to cross it and reach the Matadero, but there are also periods when the crossing must be more careful. There is also a bridge. Because of the restricted access, the local forest is well preserved. The sand is thin and white. The waters are clean, and quite clear, Snorkeling is often good. The waves can be very strong, in some places the current is strong and you have to be careful but normally the sea is calm.. When there is an east or south wind, there can be good surfing. ( a few days a week) The southern boundary of Matadeiro Beach is made by Ponta do Quebra Remo, and to the north the Rio Sangrado. It is about 640 meters long. The sand range varies between 30 and 60 meters. Go and come to Matadeiro, just walking, a slow 20-minute walk to the beach next to the Armação do Pântano do Sul. There is Public Transport from the beach of Armação do Pântano do Sul and car rental if you need! The Busses are great, every hour almost all night. The house has an alarm.
