Come share our farm adventure. Meet friendly goats, alpacas, pigs, ducks, and chickens. Two queen sized beds in a studio apartment with a convenient kitchenette and private bath. There is also a futon chair and a sofa that could accommodate small children. We have an air bed and port-a-crib also available on request. Five wooded acres to roam about. Great ski resorts and hiking trails within 30 miles. We just added a beautiful deck with patio furniture and umbrella for your outdoor use. This rustic themed studio sits on 5 acres of beautiful Oregon countryside. The space is separate from the main living quarters, providing a private get away for you and your guests. Take advantage of the forested property for a peaceful walk. If you are the adventurous type, this is located in an excellent area for your outdoor needs; skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, etc. I would possibly consider one pet on an individual basis for an additional fee of $25. We live on five acres, plenty of room for you to roam and enjoy nature. All of our animals are very friendly and love attention. You are welcome to explore anywhere you'd like on the property, except the shop and main living space. There is plenty of parking and easy access from there to the studio entrance. We are available to chat about whatever interests you. The property sits several miles outside of Sandy, Oregon. You have to take a gravel driveway for about a quarter mile to reach the house. You will pass lush country-side and plenty of farm life on the way. The location is awesome; with Mt. Hood 30 mins in one direction, and the Columbia River Gorge 30 mins. in the other. If you just want to enjoy the peaceful allure of the country, or take advantage of the endless adventures year-round, this is the place for you! Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting, hunting, you name it! Access may require four wheel drive in the winter months depending upon the amount of snowfall we have. Please ask ahead of time if this is a concern for you. There is bus service to Mt. Hood about five miles from here. It would be difficult to navigate this area without a personal mode of transportation. Ample parking is provided and the studio is easily accessible just off the parking space. Please let us know ahead of time if you do not like dogs. They typically roam the property but can be kept inside if you'd prefer. They will bark at you but are friendly. There is a fire pit outside the room for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows, we also have plenty of wood available for that purpose. There is also a small charcoal BBQ and a gas grill. We have added a TV for the winter since it gets dark earlier. We also have a DVD player with various movies to choose from.
