Contemplative Cabin

We welcome you to the Contemplative Cabin at Featherfoot Farm. The cabin is 12x12 feet inside with a loft and 4 x12 porch. It has electricity. It’s rustic, compact, and beautiful. The cabin is located at the edge of a tree line near our farm’s organic garden. We have trails for hiking and mountain biking and a 64-acre pond for swimming and kayaking (use our kayaks and canoe). An outdoor composting toilet, cold water sink, and sun shower are behind the barn. A quiet, centering place in nature. The cabin is a great place to unplug, center, and get in touch with the healing power of nature. You are free to access all parts of the farm and pond. There will be someone around to help you out if you need it. Aurora is a special place--population not many! You can get around with a car, bike, or on foot. Because of COVID-19, we are offering only sheets, pillows, and pillowcases. Please bring your own sleeping bags, blankets, and towels.
