Our neighbourhood is a friendly and inviting one with numerous families. Neighbours are respectful of one another and strangers alike. It's a safe area where children and youth are able to play without concern while still appropriately monotored according to age and/or need. There are no known issues with individuals nor animals. People live privately but are welcoming and helpful. Many are eager to meet new people and develop new friendships with newcomers to our community. Noise pollution is low and allows guest(s) to go about their business with relative quiet and rare disturbance. Our community has taxi services available. If you just need to get away from your busy life, this is the place where you can have peace and quiet, just sit back and relax. From the back, you can take a walk in the woods or venture to the neighbouring property to see the horses, enjoy nature, or you can pick gallons of blueberries, wild strawberries, partridge berries and dog berries. Botwood has a rich and varied history with provincial, national and international influences. The Botwood Heritage Society and the Botwood Mural Arts Society have conserved and portrayed this history and culture through two museums, an archive and outdoor murals.
