Aldeia Ilha Grande Cabin 3

Aldeia is a small condominium situated 8 min. walk from the beach, on Vila do Abraão's upper part, next to the forest, in a quiet place where you sleep to the sound of crickets! There are 5 cottages that divide a large garden with trees, a refreshing shower and mountain view. The 100MB optic fiber internet connection is very stable, which allows virtual meetings and remote work. Aldeia is in the upper part of Francino Inácio do Nascimento Street (or Rua do Cemitério), about 600 meters (or a 7 minutes walk) away from the pier and downtown. Within 7 minutes, 2 minutes are on a small slope. The nearest beach is about 8 min. of the condominium. Markets, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery and tour operators are on a 7 min. walk from the condominium. There are no cars on Ilha Grande! I, Alexandre, am the owner and responsible for the reservations. I do not live on the Island. Tatiane is the co-hostess, she lives on the island and is responsible for receiving the guests and give full support to them. Cabin 3 is a loft with a double bed on a mezzanine, living room with 2 single beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. It presents great finish, being well ventilated and well illuminated. It is ideal for couples or families up to 4 people. There is w-fi internet. Includes bedding and towels. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator of 280 liters, 4 burner stove with oven, blender, clay filter, pots, utensils, plates and cutlery. The bathroom has shower enclosure and shower with gas heater. There are 2 fans. The balcony has a hammock. In the back there is a service area with a washing tank. Cabana 3 (as well as the other 4 houses) is all for the exclusive use of the guest, not shared with anyone else. Only the use of the garden is shared with the guests of the other houses. There is a washing machine and dryer in the condominium but the guest is not allowed access to this equipment. Tatiane must be notified when there is an interest in washing / drying clothes. The cost is R $ 25 per wash and R $ 25 per drying. Tatiane picks up the guests on their arrival at the Vila do Abraão's pier to take them to the house so they do not waste their time looking for the house. Luggage transfer service is not included. Baggage carriers, known locally as "carreteiros", are available at the pier. After arrival and accommodation guests receive from Tatiane all the necessary information about the house, as well as tips and suggestions of everything that can be done on the Island so that their stay can be enjoyned in its best way. Tatiane is available to the guest (remotely) for any help they may need. Guests can count on her support throughout their stay. Ilha Grande is a special place. Pure waters and air, peacefulness, quietness, tranquility and safety, rare things these days around the world can still be found here. All of this in a stunning scenario formed between mountains and ocean. The high level of environmental conservation of its beaches, rivers and forests, along with car ban, are the reasons of the beauty of the island: things so important to life but increasingly difficult to be found out there. More than 200 bird species, 60 mammals species, along them monkeys and squirrels, and around 100 species of butterflies decorates the Atlantic forest in Ilha Grande, that besides been almost over in the main land, is still well preserved and protected here. Bromeliads, orchids, and a enormous diversity amount of trees and other plants, in a equally diverse environment like shore woods, mangrove and restinga that covers 100% of the area. Ilha Grande charms not only for it's natural beauties. It has a rich history represented by archaeological sites with human traces from 3 thousand years ago, and historical buildings like farm ruins from the 18th century and prisions from 19th and 20th century. Boat trips can take you to diving spots and further beaches. Surf, however, forest hikes (That can be made with the company of experienced and professionals turist guides), canoeing and free diving can be done in a more fun and active way and thus to know more about the island since you'll explore it more widely. Abraão village, the largest village in the island, offers a good infrastructure. There are bars and restaurants for all pockets. You can enjoy quietness and night life at the same time. Turism agencies organize and sell boat trips. Bakeries and markets guarantee the supply for guests staying in our cabins and want to cook their own meals. All these commerce is located at just 300 meteres away from Aldeia. There are cellphone signal for most from most of the companies. Some bars offers Wi-Fi internet. There are no banks or ATMs. A health center is open 24hours for emergencies. Electricity in Aldeia is 110V. In the absence of Tatiane another person will be responsible for receiving and supporting the guest throughout their stay. There are no ATMs and banks in Ilha Grande, but every place accept credit cards. Even so it is advisable to bring some money. Power outages are quite common at Ilha Grande. They usually last few hours, but eventually they can last much longer. The condominium where the house is located is not equipped with a generator. The irritating noise and the emissiom of carbon monoxide produced by a generator directly afeccts the best that we have to offer: silence, sounds of nature and fresh air. But the hot bath is guaranteed because the water heaterer is powered by gas! The company that provides the internet service rarely fails to deliver the signal. When this happens it is usually restored within a few hours. The floor of the streets of Vila do Abraão is uneven. It is made of cobblestones, dirt or sand, so wheeling suitcases are not the most suitable type of luggage. Transportation of luggage to the house is not included. It is recommended to hire the service of luggage loader, which can be found on the pier, for about 40 reais.
