This home is located on an unique continental island. Only steps away from 5 mile long coconut tree lined deserted beach. Crashing surf, mangrove forest, river/ocean fishing, warm water, spectacular sunsets! The beach is still natural and unspoiled even though it is very close to Uvita and Manuel Antonio National Parks. It is a popular area to view wildlife animals in their natural habitat. Perfect place to accommodate big families, groups of friends or adventurers. Palo Seco beach is quiet location without tourist crowd. Palo Seco beach is a hidden gem, secluded and unspoiled by tourism. It is a popular area to view wildlife animals such as white-faced monkeys, crocodiles, baby turtles (from August to November) and huge array of birds. You can enjoy the observation of diverse sea life with animals such as dolphins and whales. From the international airport in San Jose it is approximately two hours drive. Renting an off-road car is recommended. No grocery store in walking distance from the house. Playa Palo Seco is great for outdoor activities including horseback riding, inland fishing, mangrove monkey tours, kayaking, surfing and hiking. Sea turtles come ashore to lay eggs on Palo Seco during the last part of the rainy season. Cloud forests, mountains, and rain forests only a half hour away are open to exploration. Zipline canopy tours, suspension bridges through the canopy, waterfalls, hot springs, and butterfly farms are available for visitors. This listing is far from public transportation. Water at the house isn't drinkable. There is a water dispenser at the house and we provide two big water jugs with drinkable water.
