Artists amazing sunrise water retreat!

Wake up to AMAZING sunrises over the water. Visit our beautiful little beach community where everyone says hello as you walk one of our several board walks on the bay or a back creek. This a place of serenity where you can come relax, get away from it all. 25 minutes from Annapolis and 45 minutes to the monuments in DC. Best for a couple retreat or single person who want to get away from it all. Come and go as you wish, just one booking every 30 days. We accommodate couples and singles. Welcome. We are artists. This is our working home artists studio and would love to welcome you into our home and to our wonderful community. You will most likely have the place completely to yourselves. We do have one office room in the front and some common areas on the lower level we might need to share with you during your stay for an hour or two. But it is rare. Other than to give you little treats, we do not bother you, and will always give you ample notice. We have not used the common area while guests are here since covid began. We are very serious with cdc safety protocols. Occasionally we have someone who pops in from out of town where we need to use the space of our front art showroom but it should not interfere with your privacy. We have no plans of doing this during this time. And have not since this began. Questions just ask. We can arrange for a single or couples photo shoot in one of our scenic areas and give you a wonderful couples experience. Or you can stay completely to yourselves. We usually give everyone a quick tour of the house when you arrive if we are in town and then ask you if there is anything else we can do to help. (currently by video now) We are always just a text away if you need anything. We can arrange to shop for you or pick up a delivery from one of our little local restaurants. We can even arrange for a private yoga lesson at sunrise on a beach for you. Your room is an artists studio it is quiet and peaceful with a view. One bed this is not a place for groups or to invite your friends. No extra visitors house rule. It is a retreat for one or two only. No visitors or extra guests. We have spiral stairs going up to the master suite with large jet tub. (which is often slow to heat...) quirky like us. Stairs are steep see photos. Not suitable for anyone who has problems with stairs. Almost every room has a view of the water, every room except 1 bathroom. Perfect country retreat near the water for writers, artists, couples. Not fussy. If you look you might find some dust. If you are super picky not the place for you or are a judge of furnishings. I'm really serious about this. If you do not like art and knickknacks this is not the place for you. If you have a problem with me sharing a couple of pieces are fragile also not for you. If you are planning on bringing a small pet, dogs only or birds only, unless you reach out first for an exception, animals 25 pounds or under only, you must let us know at booking time please before you book if yu would like to bring a pet. It is on a case by case basis so please tell us a little about them first to se if this works for our home. There are also extra things we do for pups. No cats. Pets are not allowed in our front showroom. We allow small pets only and only 1 pet. we might also request a deposit so please ask. This is a simple quiet get-away. For quiet people. Photo classes or safaris of the local sites or DC or Baltimore can be arranged in advance as well. We travel a lot but are almost always around on property somewhere or in the apartment on site under the kitchen. need us just text us. If we are not in town there will be an in keeper on site to assist you. Our apartment has completely separate entrance from the outside of the house you may see us walk by the side of the house from time to time if we are in the area. Please be thoughtful of quiet hours in the kitchen. Also be aware this is a working artists studio. Occasionally, we need access to the front studio . But it is very rare. Our home is well lived in and loved. Also, please look at the photos. We try to be very accurate in our description and communicative with our guests while giving them privacy and the experience of staying at an artists home. If you are the type of person who likes to complain or judge our furniture nick nacks or possible dust please stay at a hotel. We are opening our home to you. Positive vibes only. NO extra guests or visitors no drinking on the front porch. And of course absolutely no parties. We live in a very quiet neighborhood community. This is a place to rest and relax and enjoy nature not party. i.e. low key. We are sharing our home as a retreat for you. We have space for 1 car parking only. We cater to couples only and singles looking for a break from life who are looking for a very quiet place to be. You will be able to access the entire ground level of the home...though we ask you keep our art office space in the main front room tidy in case we have to share that space for an hour or two occasionally but rarely we will need to share this space. If we do we will our best to let you know before your stay well in advance if this is the case. We have parking for one car only directly out front. There is also a grill for outdoor cooking on site. Your room will have spiral stairs going up so it is not suitable for children or those who have difficulties with stairs including pets. AGAIN STEEP SPIRAL STAIRS LEADING TO THE BEDROOM. NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS DIFFICULTIES WITH STAIRS! We do have an additional air mattress that can be used in the kitchen if needed. No extra guests even visiting ever. All guests must be listed in your reservation. No surprises, no parties. We are right on site. As long as we are not traveling we can give you as little or as much attention as you like. Only choose to stay with us though if you are a good communicator. Do not book our place if you are not. You need anything at all text us or call. We care very much about giving each guest a special stay. If we are in town we usually will give you a quick tour of the house upon your arrival to be sure you know where everything is please let us know your arrival time. (now by video during 19). If we are not in town we will have a b and b keeper available in our absence. Touch less continental breakfast included. We do not enter common areas while you are here. We are friendly, love to cook, enjoy nature, have a massive record collection, and love to read, there is an on site telescope and books on many subjects. We invite you to create art here and make it a part of our home. We can be there if you are in town for work or a retreat to help as little or as much as you prefer. We welcome art donations and supplies. We can show you the local sites or... There are local people who we can even schedule a massage or yoga class. We do enjoy greeting you at the door for check in and giving you a quick walk through of the house when we are in town if we can, but let us know if you prefer to check yourselves in. We are flexible to your complete privacy needs. If you are clear. We have many books on property and puzzles and music and other art supplies. Help yourself while you are here. Many people even bring things to share with and leave at the house they think other people will enjoy like art books or interesting things on culture as part of our permanent collection. We even have a hide and seek fossil hunt in plain view throughout the house that you can find and re-hide for fun one couple shared with the house and other interactive art. We invite you to share with us and others in the spirit of our community and house. Our community is called the twin beaches we have some art shops, a local tea shop, antique shops, both towns have a lot to offer and explore...bike paths that go to both towns. There is a darling little balcony for two to enjoy coffee and sunrises or tea. There is no public transportation you will need a car or bike you can walk to the boat harbor store and boardwalks which are very close by. There are kayaks and bikes you can rent locally We are in a quiet neighborhood in one of the loveliest little communities on the water you will find. No parties please absolutely no smoking please. Please don't invite your friends over without asking first. We have limited parking for one car and our home really can only accommodate 1 or 2 guests. No extra guests visiting even during the day. We are looking for guests who need want a quite retreat. No parties. And please be quiet at night outdoors and watch your noise level in the front yard. here is absolutely sitting our front drinking or loud talking. Do not leave items outside on the porch entry. Small clean dogs under 25 lbs are ok if you let us know ahead of time and ask. We are pet friendly and our beach is too as long as they are good fur babies don't chew and you are cool with not having them in our front showroom area and most especially our leather sofa. Again we do have spiral stairs. If you require a specific kind of bed and have a hard time traveling this might not be the best house for you. We have a darling little beach at the end of our board walk you may get lucky and not see anyone there certain times of the year except when the kids are out of school. We can arrange for romantic packed picnic lunches from one of our local restaurants and a romantic couples photo session or area photo safari on the bay or in DC Annapolis or Baltimore. Welcome. We can also help you book a charter boat, local yoga, massages and are happy to share our recommendations for our favorite local crab cakes. Shorter stays includes touch less continental breakfast.
