This is a wonderful light second floor loft apartment in the heart of the entertainment district in Downtown Champaign. This loft apartment is an open floor plan with one private bedroom with a king bed. In the main living room area there is a sofa that pulls out into a queen bed and an ottoman that pulls out into a single bed. Gas Fireplace. This is a complete furnished home. Access is through a secured main door and utilizing a coded key box for the apartment key. My space is self check-in though I am always available via text and email. I am happy to be available for quests needs and desires. In the center of our thriving entertainment district downtown Champaign there is so much to do and to see. Withing walking distance of all of downtown's excitement. Withing one block you can walk to wonderful local coffee shops, a bakery, award winning restaurants and bars (listed by Midwest Living Magazine as the greatest Midwest food town), local breweries (The Blind Pig Brewery and Destihl), Black Dog Smoke and Ale House (named one of the top barbecue restaurants in the country) and specialty retail shops. Champaign has more restaurants per-capita than any city in the country. The historic Virginia Theater ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) offers live performances year round and the famous Ebert Film Festival every spring. There are also numerous live music venues and clubs. Our historic Art Theater ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) features independent films from around the world. Champaign's beautiful West Side Park is three short blocks away, which includes the "Prayer for Rain" sculpture and fountain by Edward Kerneys (the sculptor famous for the lions at the entrance to the Art Institute of Chicago. The University of Illinois UC campus is a very short distance away, easily walkable and bikeable offering all that a main big ten University can - the historic campus and quad, sports, the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and campustown retail district. Champaign is walkable, has bike paths, a wonderful municipal bus system ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) taxis, Uber and Lyft. The city parking deck is two blocks away. The apartment is three blocks from the Illinois Terminal Building providing easy access to Amtrak Rail Service and MTD bus service. Flight service in Champaign is served by the Willard Airport. My apartments are in the very center of a very busy downtown urban environment with lots of restaurants, bars, breweries and outdoor cafe patio spaces. There is sometimes city noise, music and entertainment at many venues nearby.
