Waterfront restaurants range from casual sandwich bars through to fine dining for special occasions, among the best places to eat in St Lucia. Marigot Bay is 5 minutes by car from the villa or 20 minutes walking. The Bay’s soft sandy beach and sparkling turquoise waters are surrounded by forest-covered hills making it a natural hideaway shelter for yachts during high winds. Situated at the mouth of the Bay, its beach provides the perfect alternative for an afternoon of sunbathing, swimming and drinks if you decide to leave your pool. Other waterside local amenities include a grocery shop ideal for keeping the refrigerator full, a micro bank with ATM and offices offering boat charters, water sports and inland tours right across the island. Marigot Bay Marina - 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive to the beach down in the bay. This includes a short free shuttle about 100 yards on Captain Bravo’s ferry which runs 24/7 back and forth to the famous Le Bas Beach. Just 10 minutes walk from the villa or 2 minutes drive away there is a secluded cove, ideal for those looking for privacy.
