For anyone who really wants to try their hand at some deep sea fishing there are many boats and guides for hire in the local town of Masachapa . They know where to take you to some 'sure catch' locations. If you are not comfortable in Spanish then we will arrange for one of our staff to get it all set up for you. Quads are available for rent less than a 20 minute walk down the beach and our staff will be happy to make all arrangements for the right price. If you rent a quad for more than 1 hour, they will let you take it further down the beach. A very nice day trip easily done in 2 hours- head south down the beach to La Boquita. It is 20 km down the coast. You will be able to see what miles untouched beaches look like and end up at some beach restaurants that make some very good ceviche and have some very cold beer! Just at the end of our bay to the north are rocks called the CORTINA's that are great to sit by at high tide where the water blasts overhead Please note that our rents are net of electricity. Electricity in Nicaragua is the most expensive utility in all of Central America. It is priced differently from area to area and changes constantly.. Please ask us for additional explanation, if desired. However, be aware that daily electrical charges are currently a few dollars either way from $20 per day., from light use to heavy use, and depend mostly on use of air conditioners. Our site manager will let you know what you owe at the end of your stay.. In this area of Nicaragua the Kilowatt hour charges increase with amount used and are higher in our estate section than the nearby residential area and cannot be used to calculate by flat rate per kilowatt. Flat rate equality does not exist in Nicaragua as it does in North America. Electricity can be included included in rent if necessary by separate custom quote once we know the details of your request (number of people, number of days ,etc,.)
