Catch a taxi into lively West End to stroll in the popular dive community, listen to live music & enjoy many favorite local restaurants & shopping. Water taxi from there to lovely West Bay Beach. Beautifully decorated with art, wood and hand-carved doors, this home has air-conditioning in the main living areas, with separate A/C in all bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in every space, including porches. There is an outdoor shower on the side porch to rinse off when coming in from the beach or pool. Has wireless internet and a new Smart TV - watch your favorite Netflix shows! The screened-in Upper Deck has two hammocks ready for your relaxation during tropical evenings. There is a feeling of being under the stars as you recline under the soft illumination of hundreds of small clear lights attached to the ceiling. Our pleasant and helpful property manager lives on site across the drive. Knowledgeable and eager to please, he can tell you where to find the best food, live music, interesting attractions, and where to snorkel to find the local friendly sea turtle. Sundancer is a private Homeowner’s community, owned and rented by mostly Canadians, Americans and Hondurans. The cabanas are similarly rustic looking, yet unique. There are multiple paths throughout the community to the dock and ocean beach, passing by banana, mango, cashew, lime, papaya and coconut trees on your way. Car rentals are available on the island by the day or week. Also, it is easy to hail a taxi on the road at the end of the drive. There are also buses on the island. Insect repellent is recommended outside, at the pool and beach, especially for those sensitive to bites.
