Casa del Bosque @PuebloVerde
Our tropical-luxury hideaway. A home designed in harmony with the environment. This hideout raised the bar of what a jungle stay should be like. A contemporary living space that has everything to make you feel at home but, tucked away in nature. With an open living area accented by nature’s most exuberant scenery, the space features high ceilings, teak features, and tasteful furnishings/decor. The outdoor space integrates with the inside. A huge kitchen and family room connects with an open terrace, a deck, a breakfast bar, and a private pool, overseeing the trees and river. We designed the house to present nature as the main amenity, and with the wood accents everywhere, nature seems to comes inside the house. Each room has AC, ergonomic anti-allergic 5-star mattresses, blackout curtains, and a balcony to enjoy the vast jungle outside. The main room has a king-sized bed, a private bathroom, a walking closet, and a tub that makes other tubs jealous. The other two rooms have twin beds, built-in closets, and a shared bathroom. We have a fully equipped (jungle) gym, with yoga mats, TRX equipment, and weights. Look for the stairs next to the entrance bridge. But that’s not all! If you follow the trail you’ll find a nice hidden yoga deck, and fruit trees at your disposal (lemons, mangoes, water-apple, and starfruit). The property provides the right sense of privacy and serenity to enjoy nature in the most comfortable way possible. The mesmerizing scenery sparks your senses and if you’re lucky, you’ll get a visit from some of our wild neighbors like coatis, capuchin monkeys, congo’s, morph butterflies, scarlet macaws, and so many other friends. And we saved the best for last, Doris, the icing on the already amazing cake. You will have access to our cherished housekeeper (and your new best friend) who’ll help you keep everything in place, nice and clean. We can also arrange to take a portable BBQ grill up to your house, so you can enjoy a lovely cookout surrounded by nature. You are able to access all parts of this home. We have some random Items of ours in the storage room. In case we should not be able to be there in person, I will be just a phone call or an email away for you. Doris the housekeeper will be there Monday to Saturday, except holidays Ronald the poolboy comes 3 times a week. The property is close to everything yet far enough to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Only 35 minutes from Samara Beach, the location is optimal for those who want to explore Costa Rica’s natural beauties, beaches, and adventures knowing that they’ll have a super comfy bed to come home to. The ocean is just a few hundred meters down the road and Islita is a very small town but very unique and authentic. The best part: Its people. You can join the local soccer games on the “plaza” every Tuesday, check out the rural museum, hike to the tiny waterfall on the top of the road or pick up some fresh local ingredients in the “pulperia” to cook your own meal. Don’t feel like cooking? Head up to Miguel’s… You’ll thank us later! Public transportation is not available to islita. It's tucked away and little explored by tourists. I recommend you a 4WD if you travel by car. I am happy to help you with a shuttle to get to the property and organize you a car rental drop off.
