El California studio #4, South-Jaco Beach

This is a very cute small studio like apartment of a single spaces with its own kitchen and bathroom, perfect to travel on a budget yet staying in a nice clean area and in the best part of Jaco beach, Costa Rica. The studio doesn't have AC and pool but is literally 5 min walk to the beach and 10 minutes to town where all restaurants and shops are. Surrounded by gardens and surf boards this is the perfect spot to come to CR catch some waves, meet people and relax. The California use to be a hotel and now is a surfers guest house, sister operation to Tortuga Surf camp, this is the base for the camps equipment and some of its staff, making this a very unique place to stay and enjoy your time in Costa Rica with true locals. Located just a few minutes to the camps beach station, this is a huge plus as its normally the camps hang out and you can swim and surf on a super safe environment, on a nice clean part of the beach. Small surfer like community vibe to the place as most of its inhabitants are surfers as the beauty of the place is its simplicity! The building had one main gate access and you can use green areas and outside tables. And you would be able to take advantage of Tortuga Surf camp beach chairs for free when available just because you are staying under the TSC umbrella. All the surf equipment stored on the premises would need to approval of Tortuga surf camp staff to be used, the best would be to just visit our beach station, and we would give you instructions on that upon arrival. I also manage the property across the street so if anything is needed you can just walk across the street and someone from the camp would be able to assist you or to call me and see how we can help you, we normally are open until 8pm, but i always try to be available for my guest when needed in case of emergencies. Jaco is separated in three main sections. SOUTH (where we are located) , Central (the main town) and the North side (where all the towers are), we are located on a little side street called Calle Santana, where all the people on it except for our two buildings belong to the same family and this makes it very nice and warm as well as safe. The south of Jaco is the prettiest side of town as we have the beach almost in front and its the nice area of the beach with the soft waves and clean sand, also the jungle hike is right behind you. All in all the best part of the town for many reasons. My place is literally a 5 min walk to the water and a 10 min walk to town, both flat pleasant walks, but beach cruisers are probably your best call for transportation and you can rent them anywhere in town. If you are coming into town with public transportation it would be helpful that you ask the driver to let you out at Morgan's this is a resort right in front of our street . You will get out of the bus and see Calle santana on the corner and you could find me on the second buildings on the left or right.
