***Please do not reach out for a booking if you are unable to wear a mask outside of your room and the bathroom.*** With only a 10 minute walk to the center of downtown or the waterfront this private room is the best location to explore/see Burlington. Queen plush bedding and access to common areas makes it the perfect little getaway. Your only decision, whether to leave the house or not. Built in 1910 the house has some serious charm. Renovated in 2009 it has all the amenities one would want. There are three indoor/outdoor cats and a small dog that live here. Anyone with mild allergies should be fine (no carpet). Make yourself at home within my home. Guests have access to all common areas, including living room, and even the music area. I prefer that there is no cooking in the kitchen, however use of the fridge and microwave are allowed. I am more than happy to give you any recommendations on what to see, where to eat and the best local hangouts for an authentic experience in Burlington. The old north end is named such because it was the northern point of Burlington until the 1950's when the "new" north end (suburb) was built. In the late 1800's North Street was the most happening part of town. Today, as a more affordable part of Burlington the neighborhoods are filled with young people and refugees from around the world (Burlington is a refugee resettlement location). The old north end is now filled with asian, african and Halal markets. The schools in this neighborhood speak over 35 languages. CCTA ((website hidden)) bus depot is within a 10 minute walk. A bus stop to get you there is two houses away. Burlington is also a very walkable city as well as being fairly bike friendly. There is a waterfront bike path as well as a shorter path through wooded areas. The latter connects the old north end of Burlington to the new north end, with Ethan Allen Homestead and paths to the Intervale farmland. This bike path is 4/10ths of a mile away.
