Not more than 20 minutes by car from Puno city, you can enjoy the nature, ride horses and do some nice walks. Fundo Chincheros is an end 19th century ranch, dedicated to traditional Andean animal husbandry, such as llamas, alpacas, cows, sheep and horses. We have recently opened our farm house with an accommodation facility offering very comfortable rooms, horseback riding, country walks, bird watching, being in contact with lamas and alpacas, the possibility for visitors to share daily farm activities, or just spending some relax time out in the nature. It is a very quiet place not more than 20 minutes from Puno city, has 125 hectars and it is been part of the natural reserve Titicaca, an interesting alternative of rural tourism, which allows you to get a real feeling about the region you are visiting. The kitchen, the living room with its fire heart, yards and the country side is on your own disposition. There is a 16th century chapel you can visit by asking the host. The three storage rooms at the small yard, are restricted to acces. For your own security the access to the stables are allowed only with the host supervicion. We are glad to assist you on any enquiry you have, also regarding tours and activities. If you need transportation to or from Puno city, bus/train station or the airport, you can arrange a transfer with us. The farm is located at 20 minutes from Puno city, after the Km 9.2 of the road from Puno to Juliaca there is a side track to the right and almost 2 km of an unpaved road untle toy reach the house farm. The easiest way to reach the farm is by taxi or you can arrange a transfer with us. There is no public transportation service to the house farm. Due to the location of the ranch, there is limited internet conection and the signal is enought for checking mail, social media, maps, but not so good eniught for a big downstreaming. The cell phone signal is a little weak inside the house so maybe trying it outdoors will get you a better signal while you enjoy the views, the horses and all the fresh air.
