Portland Suburbs Tiny House

Ever wonder what it's like to live tiny? Relax in our vintage, eclectic tiny house featuring a private patio, two lofts, larger kitchen, and bathroom with a full size shower. LGBTQ friendly. Our tiny house opens to the kitchen and living area equipped with a table/desk and two chairs, a small sofa, plenty of counter space, and a projector screen to watch via Roku. Continuing down the hall, you'll find a washer/dryer combo, a cabinet to store your clothing, the door to the bathroom and finally steps to the king loft with ample basket storage to organize any miscellaneous gear. The bathroom has a vented composting toilet in addition to a walk-in shower, which provides hot 5 - 7 minute showers. The king loft is accessible by climbing the two steps and the pipe ladder at the end of the hall. The awning loft doors may be closed and locked for more privacy. The twin loft is accessible by the ladder hanging in the main living area. There is a twin tri-fold sleep mat that is great for shorter people, fetal position sleepers or teenagers. There is a small green space on the other side of the main driveway with seating that may be used. We live in the main house on the property. We will give you your space, but feel free to text/call us with any questions and we'd be happy to help as soon as possible. Our tiny house is located in Oak Grove which is a suburb within the Portland Metro Area. We are located 19 minutes from downtown Portland, 10 minutes to historic Oregon City, 51 minutes from Salem, 2 hours to the coast and 2.5 hours to Mt. Hood. Portland Airport (PDX) - 25min Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) - 17min Portland Saturday Market - 17min Children's Museum/Oregon Zoo - 21min The most suitable travel method for our area is by car, but there are other options. Mcloughlin Blvd is less than 1/3 of a mile, which has public bus transportation (Trimet). The light rail near downtown Milwaukie doesn't come all the way down to our location on Mcloughlin, but can be accessed via bus (Trimet). Hertz car rental is a little over a mile away and Enterprise is just under 2 miles away. Our tiny house drains only gray water so all soaps, toothpaste, detergents, etc. will be provided. The water IS drinkable. No children are allowed under the age of 5 in the lofts (unless your willing to sign an additional waiver). Older children may enter at parents discretion. Anyone that uses the lofts should show caution as the height to the floor is approximately seven feet. Safety is a huge priority and we want everyone's stay to be without injury. Our family includes four kids and two large dogs; please be aware if you have allergies to pets (or kids!).
