RENTAL INCLUDES FULL TIME HOUSEKEEPER AND COOK. Enjoy swimming in the villa's large private pool and play a game of pool with your family or friends for entertainment in the gazebo. Walk around its grounds or relax under the palm trees on a comfy hammock. Guests have access to all areas of villa and grounds. Housekeeper receives guests and is in the villa throughout your stay. I am available to my guests when required. I guarantee you will fall in love with the villa and the town of Bayahibe as soon as you arrive! This is what my first guest, Joseph Golan, had to say: Hello Karina, We are trying for few days to write a review but for some reasons, the trip is not shown. Following is our review: This is the closest to “Heaven on Earth” as we have ever found. Karina, the hostess, was most gracious and accommodating, greeting us on arrival. Her knowledge of the area led us to many very nice places to visit as well as local restaurants with outstanding food and service. The villa itself is very comfortable and worked quite well for our stay. Situated on a peninsula, we were surrounded with beautiful water and a peaceful environment. It’s far enough away from the village to be very quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to walk into the village for dining and sundry items. The lower level of the house has 4 distinctive “gathering areas” where were able to gaze into the sea, watch the boats pass, and the sunset daily. For us, it was an outstanding experience we hope to repeat in the future. The staff at Karina’s place is what really made this a standout experience. The lady of the house, Fifa, (always close by, but in no way obtrusive) was a true pleasure to work and visit with. She worked hard to accomplish each and every request we presented and did so with a smiling face and a addicting laughter that we will truly miss. We genuinely enjoyed our entire 5 days here and really look forward to a return. Will appreciate if you can make airbnb publish it. Take care, Joseph Renting a car in the airport is the best option if you want to explore nearby places and attractions: La Romana, Casa de Campo, Punta Cana. However, there are excursions that leave right from Bayahibe: Isla Saona, La Palmilla, Isla Catalina, scuba diving, parasailing, etc.; and as mentioned before, there is plenty of activity in Bayahibe - restaurants, bars, and sightseeing - that you don't need a car for. The house cook will delight you with local dishes if you so wish. The cook will prepare breakfast and one other meal per day, either lunch or dinner. If you wish that the cook prepares three meals on any given day, a 20 dollar extra payment is required, and can be paid directly to the cook. House specialties: Asopao de camarones con tostones - Dominican style shrimp risotto and fried green plantains. I recommend this for dinner. Mangu, sausages and eggs - mashed green plantains with stir-fried onions on top, eggs (fried, scrambled or boiled) and sausages. I recommend this for breakfast/brunch. Moro de guandules con coco, fish and tostones - rice with pigeon peas cooked with coconut water, fried fresh fish, and fried green plantains. Dominican Style Potato salad and fried chicken fingers. BBQ - fish, porkchops, ribs...you name it, with yuca con mojo (onion and vinegar topping).
