The Dutton Farm House

From this ridge top, the panorama is breath-taking with views over an heirloom apple orchard, stunning view of Mt. Monadnock, and the Connecticut River valley. The house is fully furnished, with all linens and a complete kitchen; it simply lacks you and your food! The Dutton Farm House was meticulously restored to its 1840's period style with all of the modern conveniences. There's a small library with an assortment of books on regional history and culture and the living room features a gas log fire place where you can read and relax in comfort. Guests will have complete access to the house, the game room, piano, ridge & forest trails, the nearby CSA garden where you can arrange for fresh veggies, and a Farm Market nearby with fresh fruits and Vt specialty products . The house is equipped with wifi and no password is required. The house is entirely yours and you'll only see us if you need us!. The Farm house is located on a rural dirt road bordered by stone walls, maple trees and the beautiful Scott Farm orchards. You can hike, bike, cross country ski or snow shoe right out the front door. It's conveniently located just 5 miles from Interstate 91 and 7 miles from downtown Brattleboro. There are no public transportation services so you will need a car. Brattleboro offers fine dining, casual waterfront dining, shopping, a Jazz center, the New England Youth Theater, wine shops, farmers' markets, breweries and Vermont artisan shops. There's an old fashioned movie theatre, music festivals, activities for kids, canoe and kayak rentals, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. At night you'll see more stars than you knew existed!
